In this episode, I address a very common question I get as a Sports Dietitian regarding macronutrients and dietary strategy. There is this belief that there are specific macro percentage splits that are universally optimised for fat loss and/or muscle gains.
How true is this? Is this all B.S?
With the growing interest over the years in flexible dieting and tracking your macros, many dieters search for the perfect macro split they think will level up their progress and achieve their health and fitness goals.
Your nutrition is a key fundamental pillar of achieving body composition change so it’s important that you understand how nutrition works and how to harness it properly.
That is why we need to deep dive into macros and look at whether or not there are ‘ideal macro splits’ or if this is all misinformation.
