A situation that many athletes and gym goers find themselves in, is when they finish a hard and gruelling training session or complete a sporting game and they need to kick off their fuelling…

Yet they don’t have anything prepared at home OR more commonly they are travelling at the time (perhaps an interstate or overseas sporting competition) and need to be able to make a decision on the go that will still tick off the re-fuel and recovery boxes.

What can one choose? What does one do? 

There are better options, less ideal options, great options, and pretty crappy options. And it’s not always going to be a smooth logistical feat. 

However, I wanted to help by providing some ideas that I would choose and that I have recommended to athletes before, based on what is available here in Australia at least. 

In this episode, I share 4 on-the-go takeaway options that athletes and gym goers can choose from to tick off the fuelling box when they don’t want to or can’t prepare a suitable meal prep at home.
