#260: Protein Takeover? Not everything needs to be a high protein version of something….and here’s why.
High protein this, high protein that.
It is no secret that protein has taken over and that food companies are now bombarding us with protein versions of what it seems like to be everything from ABC to XYZ.
Is this a good thing though?
A prime opportunity to never miss out of those protein gains?
Well, yes and no. It’s neither good or bad. This is a nuanced topic and context really matters.
In this episode, I rant a bit about how not everything needs to be high protein and the reasons why may surprise you (especially coming from a protein lovin’ and promoting Dietitian).
